Around the Ozarks there are so many captivating points-of-interest that relate to our rivers, sustainability, infrastructure, recreation, water safety, and more.
Each year we seek out a new location for our members to tour. Last year, our members were able to tour a nearly 100% sustainable home within Springfield, Missouri. By looking at the front of this house, no one would ever guess the home uses rainwater to flush its toilets, is 100% supported through solar panels, and has a flourishing garden in the back. Join us on the next tour to learn about hidden gems of the Ozarks.

JRBP loves to gather our members together to learn about our Ozarks' region, its natural inhabitants & their surroundings, and our vital local water resources.
Each year we hold at least 1 member meeting where an expert comes in to discuss a topic. Last year, an MDC representative taught about Missouri invasive species, highlighting the important recent concentration on the prevention and removal of hydrilla within Missouri. Do you have a topic in mind that you would like to learn more about? We would love to hear!
